What should we wear for our session?
I recommend choosing a few neutral tones and ensuring everyone is wearing these. Think whites, creams, browns, denims. Ensure you avoid any branded clothing / logo's or very busy patterns - this will really take away from YOU. If you have kids as a part of your session, it's a good idea to bring a spare change of clothes. If your session is at the beach, be prepared to take your shoes off and get a little wet!
I'm worried my kids won't behave!
Don't stress!
My style is candid, not posed - and child led sessions are my favourite.
The best photos happen when you let go of the idea of a 'perfect family photo' - because the truly perfect ones are the real moments! A real laugh is better than a "cheeeeese" photo any day.
The only thing you need to worry about during our session is having fun with each other, and I'll guide you along the way. That's what I am here to capture!
Can we bring our dog to the session?
YES!!! Dogs are a part of the family, I love when they are included in sessions!
Please let me know prior to the session if you are intending to bring your dog, as I will need to ensure that the location is dog friendly.
Do you travel for photoshoots?
Locations within 30kms of Heathridge are included in my session pricing, and all of my frequently visited locations are in this area, so don't attract any travel cost.
If there is a special place you'd like to have your session that is outside of this radius, I can still accommodate you.
30-50kms from Heathridge is a $50 travel fee.
50-70kms from Heathridge is a $100 travel fee.
If you are after a session that is further than 70kms, please contact me.
what is the booking process?
Once you book online, your session date/time is held for 24 hours before your $150 deposit is due. This can be paid either by card or bank transfer.
My contract and questionnaire will be sent out at the same time to be completed.
The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to our session date.
** If you are booking a Mini Session, final payment is due within 24 hours to secure **
5 days before the session, I'll send out a pre-session email with the final details and what to expect on the day - and if you ever have any questions, I am always here to answer them!
What if the weather is bad?
I want your photos to be as amazing as you want them to be!
If there is a high chance of rain or strong winds that are likely to impact your session, I will reach out on the day of to give you the option to reschedule.
Once I have booked, can I reschedule?
I offer one free of charge reschedule if you have accidentally booked the wrong date, or something else in life pops up!
Just contact me to arrange and we can move your date.
For any subsequent reschedules after this, there is a $50 reschedule fee.
What do you edit in photos?
My editing style is candid and natural, and I want your images to reflect you as you are. I adjust things like exposure, contrast, colour, and image temperature to create a polished final gallery. I’ll remove temporary things such as scratches or bruises, but I don’t alter natural features like wrinkles or body shape. I also don't edit clothing choices.
How long does it take to get our photos?
You will receive your selection gallery within 4 weeks from your session date. Once you have chosen your images, I will process the final edits on your images, which will take up to 2 weeks from the date you have finalised your selection.
I edit over multiple sessions with fresh eyes to ensure your gallery is perfect by the time it reaches you. If you do need your photos by a specific date, please let me know at the time of booking to see if this can be accommodated.
Do you offer albums or prints?
At this stage, I don't offer albums or prints.
You will receive the digital images and from there can organise your own printing.
